Women's wrestling has experienced extraordinary growth in recent years, becoming the fastest-growing sport for a record seven consecutive years. Participation now spans every level of competition, from youth programs and high schools to collegiate championships, culminating on the World and Olympic stages.
This growth reflects more than increased participation. Women's wrestling offers athletes a powerful pathway to develop strength, technical skill, discipline, confidence, and self-esteem through one of the world's oldest and most demanding sports. Competitors gain resilience, focus, and life skills that extend well beyond the mat.
Final Takedown proudly supports and celebrates this progress by providing a competitive platform dedicated to female wrestlers. Our events give athletes the opportunity to showcase their skill, commitment, and hard-earned excellence, while honoring the positive impact women's wrestling continues to have on athletes, families, and the broader wrestling community.
